TRYOUT INFORMATION
DETAILS
Tryouts for the SugarBears Dance Team are held between May - July for the following school year. For those selected for the team, we will host informational sessions for both athletes and parents following tryouts so you can learn about our program and get any questions answered.
Important dates/deadlines and links to register will be posted below when that information is available.

TEAM TRYOUTS SCHEDULE
FOR 2023-2024 SEASON
*OPEN PRACTICE: JULY 15
10AM - 12PM, BTHS MAIN GYM
(enter through Door #5)
Join the Butler Sugar Bears Dance Team for an open practice where you will get to meet the coaches and learn about how to join the team! This is open to all students in 8th-12th grade who currently attend or plan to attend BTHS.
*Please note, the open practices is optional and not required to tryout for the team.
TRYOUTS DAY 1: JULY 17
5-8PM, BTHS MAIN GYM
(enter through Door #5)
Group session: You'll learn a technique & a couple routines and meet the coaches.
TRYOUTS DAY 2: JULY 18
5-8PM, BTHS MAIN GYM
(enter through Door #5)
Tryouts: We'll review the choreography & technique, then tryouts will begin.
